If you like Pilates, you may enjoy taking a class somewhere.

There used to be an awesome Pilates teacher at the gym on Walnut, but that closed down :-(
Where we're at now there is something called Bodyflow that is a combination of Pilates, Yoga and TaiChi. I'm trying to go to it at least a few times a week.

You said you're not a gym person, but I wonder if you think the same way I thought a few years ago.... that the only people who go to gyms are "perfect" already and just trying to keep that way.
I didn't realize the wide variety of ages(many older folks go where I go!) go to the gym. Some friends there who are older said they've been coming to the gym for much of their lives.
It's been almost 2 yrs. hubby and I have been going. Hoping to make it a lifetime thing like some of my role models there :-)

Anyway, have fun checking out this site. Lots of good information and inspiration here!

Hello everyone :) My resolution this year was to take care of myself. I've been negligent. I definately need to lose some weight. I'm not a gym person at all. I got a bike for christmas and I like walking. I also enjoy pilates, I have the winsor pilates dvds which I enjoy, but haven't been doing lately. I'd rather be outside! Guess I will go poke around the site and check things out! Take care!
