Congratulations, weddings are so exciting!! You can TOTALLY lose that amount of weight by then, and we are totally here to support you!

these are probably my biggest tips:

1. plan plan plan! sit down and decide what your workouts will be and what you will eat each week. then commit!

2. eat more vegetables, fruits, lean proteins, and whole grains. don't bring junk home! if it's not there, you can't eat it.

3. cook in bulk. i try to chop up several heads of lettuce and keep them in bags for salads, grill or bake several chicken breasts and keep them in the fridge for quick meals (or have beans/tofu/whatever ready to go if you prefer no meat), roast veggies by the tray and then store them in pyrex, etc. a little extra prep can save you tons of time and help you avoid grabbing something quick and unhealthy!

4. set 2-3 daily goals for yourself and don't go to bed before you've achieved them! mine are: my scheduled workout, cleaning my house for half an hour, and reading scriptures.

5. drink lots of water!!

Congrats on the wedding. How exciting! What's your game plan for weight loss? I'm always looking for buddies around town to run/workout with and motivate each other.

I've never been skinny. I want to lose weight to feel better about myself. Plus I'm getting married in 5 months and I'm dealing with the pressure of looking great in a wedding dress. I don't have much motivation and I need all the help I can get. I want to lose 20-30 pounds before June 24, 2011 (my wedding day)
