Welcome! The Eastside has such great offerings to be active and healthy (especially if you're an outdoors person like me).

Bellevue parks & rec programs are top notch, as are the facilities such as the South Bellevue Community Center and the Environmental center.

Since you've cut the (cable)cord, you may appreciate the King County Library System. I've gotten hundreds of dvds and books there (which you can put on hold very easily)for FREE!

My secret source for fresh, high quality produce and meats on the Eastside is Top of the Hill Market (which also houses Ted & Sean's Meats)in the Renton Highlands vicinity.

Oh, and a new Tutta Bella is in Issaquah for your pizza fix...LOL, we can't all be perfect!

I have to "take my own medicine" and lose weight to help my cholesterol and knees. Later this year I turn 50 and would like to be at a better weight and feel better so I can continue to run!
My weaknesses are pizza, TV, and eating in front of the TV. I finally am getting some success by limiting these! My teenage sons aren't keen about turning off the TV, but I've canceled cable service which is quite liberating!
