I am looking to create a network of people with chronic health conditions who encourage each other to avoid burn out or perfectionism. I have had type 1 diabetes 42 years and enjoy hiking in the McDowells. I am considering starting a meetup group for people like myself who follow a special diet and have to deal with medical conditions that can be discouraging. I have found recently that paying more attention to doing something without regard to if it was entirely successful helps me. I am keeping count of all the positive things I do daily for my health to keep me motivated.
What do you do to overcome burn out?
