Hi all!

My name is Tracy - I'm 25 years old and I recently started a Weight Watchers program here in sunny Scottsdale, Arizona.

It has been only 1.5 weeks, but in the first week, I lost a whopping 7 POUNDS! I'm super excited to continue on this streak.

I started off at 246lbs and I am 5'3". As you can tell, this is a dangerous weight/size.

My father passed away when he was 37 years old (I was 8 years old) from a heart attack. He was a yo-yo dieter, and it finally got to him. I am 25 years old - that is not that far off. Heart disease and diabetes from being overweight runs in my family, and I absolutely refuse to be a statistic.

I spent 4 years telling my doctor's I don't want to see my weight and didn't want them to tell me. When I got on the scale at my first weight watchers meeting, I was horrified to see 246.00 pop up on the digital screen. HORRIFIED. That was the day I decided it was time to do something about it - the junk food and fast food were just not worth it.

Hopefully, we can all find inspiration in each other and try to bring our team up to the TOP!

PS: Does this group ever have meetups in Scottsdale where we can all go out to a healthy place and get a bite to eat or something? Or even meet up at a park for a power walk? We should do that if we don't!
