Thank you for the reply. Yes, I would love to hike sometime. I've heard Lost Dog Trail is a good one. I dont know if I'm in good enough shape to make it 4.5 miles, though!! Yeah, I think hiking this time of year would have to be done before 8am!

I can't use an upright bike (knee pain), so use my recumbent at home. I do get out for walking in the greenbelt (usually one of the routes by Chaparral Lake) or hiking in the Scottsdale Mountain Preserve. Lost Dog Trail is about 4.5 miles, has a very gradual elevation, and is easy enough for about anyone to master. Sunrise Trail is a little more difficult with a stepper elevation and presents more of a challenge. This time of year, both hiking and walking usually start pretty early because of the heat. Drop a line if you ever feel like going.

Does anyone like to bike? I love starting at Mustang Library and riding down the McCormick Ranch trail. I usually ride about 45 minutes to an hour.
