The best advice for me was to take small steps and make small changes and work your way up. It doesn't have to be all-or-nothing. Also, don't ever completely give up!!! If you need to scale it back for a little bit and work your way back up again, that is OK.

Using the food tracker is essential. You need to be honest on it know what you currently eat and see those calories. From there, you can start making subsitutions that are healthier and lower-calorie. That is the key for most of us here.

Hello everyone, I am new here. I am 28 and can barely fit into any of my clothes, so I decided I have to loose weight cause buying larger clothes is just not an option. Before I had my son I weighed 130, when I went into labor I was at a whopping 228. Once I got divorced I lost a great deal of weight and went down to 160, then gradually went right back up to 180 where I was able to stay for a while. I just finished LPN school a few months ago and now weigh about 222 or something. You would think being a nurse would make it easier to loose weight or we would not be over weight to begin with, well that is not true. I want so bad to get back down to my pre-pregnancy weight but it seems as though I am just continually getting larger. So here I am. My Dr. actually recommended this site. I really want to loose this weight and I am hoping that all of you will help me. It seems like if I have to answer to someone I am more opt to do it right. Does any one have any suggestions?
I would really like one of those weight loss trackers at the bottom of everyones post, how do you get it and how do you add a picture of yourself? emoticon
