Welcome to the team!

The simplest thing to do is set up your goals so that Sparkpeople can set your calorie/fat/carb/protein ranges. Then, track everything you eat! Start trying to substitute or find new things or change portion sizes to get closer to being in those ranges every day. It works!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Good luck! :)

Hey, I am Hollian, I am 20 years old. I am not good at knowing exactly how to put things in words, i have always felt over weight for as long as i can remember, and over the last few years i have been making my own decisions, and they haven't been the healthiest ones, my weight has just gone up and up i am embarrassed to be seen as big as i am. i decided to join spark team when my sister suggested it to me. but i have just been so busy with work and haven't really had time to use it still learning how. i would like to get to know people and see how things have worked for them. i know that if i don't stick to a plan of some kind and somehow keep up with it nothing will happen. i am trying to learn new ways and new snack ideas to keep away from the vending machines at work, and looking for ideas of how to keep moving while sitting on the phone at work. i look forward to meeting new people my age with some of the same goals god bless. Hollian emoticon
