Welcome! :)

You can change your weight tracker by going to "edit my sparkpage" (click on "community" and then "sparkpages"). There should be something near the bottom of the edit page where you can change your tracker.

Hi, My name is Ty. I'm not sure where to start, so I'll jump right in. I'm not new to the site but recently have become really serious (again:/) about losing this weight. I am 296 lbs with lots to lose. Please wish me luck. I need to figure out how to change my weight tracker. Any help is appreciated.

I'm new also, and like you i've tried several diets before. I was doing pretty good a few years ago, lost about 40 pounds..but then i got pregnant lol it all came back plus a little extra. My OB said that sometimes loss of weight can cause a surge in fertility..its apparently true.
This site has been helpful..i've learned several things i didnt know before about dieting. The food tracker has really opened my eyes to what im eating. I've even cut my choesterol intake in half if not more..and wasnt even trying.
Anyways..good luck with your weightloss. If ya need a weightloss buddy..I'm here if you're interested!

SparkPeople is a good place to really get ahold of your life. Make sure you use the sparkpeople tracker tools (for food and fitness)..they are really helpful!!

I find what helps keep me motivated is reading stuff on the message boards (here and the general ones) to see people with similar issues and questions as me. Reading the health articles with tips on exercise and eating are really good too..they just kind of get you in that mindset to be paying attention to healthy choices.

Hello, everyone. I am new to all of this - I've tried other things before, but nothing worked. I've been exercising on and off for a while now, but I've got to get my diet under control too. I want to lose 180 pounds total. I'm looking forward to the support I think this site will provide.
