I think you're doing great! You have your weight tracker set up and your sparkpage is also set up. You found our great group too, and have successfully made a couple of posts to the team message boards. Have you checked out the proposed meal and exercise plans set up for you? You can find them under My Tools (upper left). They are called my nutrition and my fitness. That's probably a good place to start. Have a little confidence -- you're off to a great start.

Welcome. This is a great group full of supportive people. I only joined SP a week ago and already feel like I'm part of the team.

I know nothing about low carb diets, but would also recommend that you slowly reintroduce carbs. Congratulations of past and future weight loss!

Hey JESSNBUBBA, congrats on joining SP, it's an awesome site. I did low carb for about 5 months and lost 60 lbs, but once I went back off it and was eating "Bad carbs" again I gained it all back. Since you have been eating low carb I would suggest to introduce carbs back in slowly, make sure you are eating the "good carbs" like fruits and whole grains. You may see your WL slow for awhile because your body isnt used to it, but stick to it because untimately you have to do this for the rest of your life and it is a lifestyle. Let me know if you need any support.

Hey everybody! My name is Jessica. I'm 21 yrs old, and I need to lose another 100 pounds to get to my ultimate goal of 140 lbs. So far I've lost 37lbs on my own doing a low-carb diet. However, I am starting to have problems with the diet and I'm getting bored from the lack of variety in the diet. My friend Maria told me about SparkPeople, and I'm glad I found it! Hopefully we will all have success in our weight-loss journeys!
