Let me see, I am going to try and make this as short as possible. Our life is a bit complicated. Or it is for those that haven't been around for the chaos.

I am Teri. I am wife (ex-wife, really, but I'll get to that) to James. We have two fantastic sons: Zack is 14 and Noah will be 12 in a week. We are currently living in Ormond Beach, Fl, but that will only be for a little more than a year then we will move back to our home town of Ocala, Fl. James is in Respiratory Therapy school; he graduates in 13 months (praise Jesus!).

I was going to explain why I am the wife/ex-wife but if you read my blog (link is in my signature) you'll get much more than I can post here.

My weight loss started as a desire to be healthier. I was doing Made to Crave with the Proverbs 31 ministry. Loved it and really learned a lot. One day towards the end of January of this year I said to James "I want to start walking each night" first few nights we walked the very nice complex property. Within a week I said "Okay well, I want to start running the bridge"; it's a short bridge but I am so not a runner! We did that. Now, we run every night. We vary, but we run about 2/3 of 1.5 miles. I am feeling great! So much healthier! James is not overweight, but he isn't super fit either. He's incredibly thin, but not "healthy", but he's getting there too! I have such a long road ahead of me but with a praying husband and family cheering me on I know I can do this! The kids run some nights with us. Noah kicks my booty when he runs with us. He will have us really moving and then pushes us to run the steps to our third floor apt. I have a love/hate relationship with living on the third floor.

We are getting remarried in 2015! Really it's a legal thing. We live, walk and serve God as a married couple. Those that didn't know when we got divorced are always so funny when we tell them. "Wait, what?!" It's our testimony. We don't hide it. God is so faithful in marriages! We were young and stupid. We were not walking with God and didn't have the humility to ask for help. Our family suffered. Now, our relationship is stronger than it has ever been. We are best friends, always have been. We met at 12 and have been attached at the hip ever since.

I guess that's us in a nutshell. I cannot wait to meet others and be an encouragement!
