That's a good question! I know that right now (at a healthy maintenance weight), I am 10 lbs heavier than I was when I was married. However, that is 24 years and 3 children later.

If your BMI is still in the healthy range, it doesn't sound unhealthy to me. But maybe consider waiting until you get closer to goal to make a final decision. You might feel comfortable at a slightly higher or lower weight than the goal you have at the moment.

Good luck to you!

Was your name DHUEY110 before?

When I first joined this site, the site decided that it would be enough for me to lose about 36 pounds. That's not so bad. Then I went to another site that would show me what I should look like at my target weight goal. I still looked fat. I think it might be because of all those scrawny models out there. Anyway, whatever the case, I decided that I want to lose even more. Now I have 60 pounds to lose. I hope I did not set an unrealistic goal. I used the BMI chart to help me. Plus I never had a baby so that has to help. Right?
