Happy Sat everyone, Time to get back on track. Thanksgiving went well. Happy belated thanksgiving to all. We did good I think. We have a very light breakfast and than we cook the main meal which was turkey,stuffing,yams,green beans bake, baked ziti, pumpkin pie,cake. We snack on devil eggs,sausage,cheese,crackers,chips,dip during the day. Even with it only being in the 50's the kids played outside for a bit. Over all it was a very nice day.
Well yesterday we set up the tree and now all we need to do is decorate it. and we put out the Santa's which the kids love. As one of them plays music and sings and dances. We didn't do black friday as we had all our shopping done ahead of time. Black friday is just too crazy for us.
Went and got a new outfit and it feels so good to be wearing a xl again. The weight it coming off slowly. I brought myself a sweater and leggins to wear on thanksgiving day..I am finally out of the plus sizes.
Well got some laundry to do and some cleaning and gonna try to decorate the tree. Hope all is well with everyone else.....

Well just sitting here enjoying a nice cup of coffee. I just finished cleaning out our rabbits cages and did some laundry and cleaned the house. We been cleaning out all the clutter we built over the years. We have so much stuff we just don't use or need. I am beat and tired. We have the kids home for thanksgiving break. It nice out today as we reach 70 but the kids don't wont to go out side and play or ride their bikes. Already they bored to death. Anyway we have our turkey thawing as we have a big boy he 19lbs. We even have our menu and everything we need for the big day. The kids are so excited to eat Tom lol. They calling dibs on the legs and wings.
Hubby isn't feeling well today as he suffering from sore back and migraine. So he resting. I just wanted to stop by and say hi to all...

Hi I am new to the group but not sparkpeople. My name is Sandy and I am 48 and I am trying to get back on track and lose this weight. It been rough but I am doing it one day at a time. Well I walk my two youngest to school and I took my time so I wouldn't get out of breath. It felt so good to be able to walk them again. We starting to get cold too as this morning it was only 30 our high suppose to be in the 50's. My daughters eye is starting to look better she misses school. We have another daughter home with a nasty cold and sore throat. I say it from this weather you know. Not too much going on other wise. Today I have a couple meetings with the kids teachers to see how they doing in school. Just trying to stay on track and eat right and to stay warm and well. Cause with all this cold temperatures I sure cant come down sick. Hope all is well with everyone else...
