Hi Amber! Glad you are getting determined to stick to your guns with a healthy lifestyle! We all have our ups and downs! I've adopted a new way of thinking - I always would say "I'll start back up on Monday.. or I'll wait to start back up after this event, or so and so's bday." Not anymore! I'm doing this day by day - meal by meal! If I mess up, I get back on it the very next time I eat - weather I pick back up by eating a healthy snack or meal following the boo-boo. Find time to exercise - even 10 min a day is a good start and better than not doing any movement! I hope you are getting settled in at your new location! I'm just a year into the military life with my hubby and 2 boys 4 and 2 and I'm actually due for another boy this October! Watching my weight creep back up during the pregnancy has been frustrating, but I've been much better this time around (gained 60lbs with each of my other pregnancies.. yes 60lbs EACH pregancy!) This time I'm only up 20 with 9.5 weeks to go! And I have Sparkpeople to thank for helping me set good guidelines! Hopefully we can get this ArmyWife page back up and running. I'd love to have more Army spouses to chat with and be accountable to as well!

Hi everyone! My name is Amber. We are stationed at FLW. Wondering if anyone else is in the area. This is our second time here in MO. We just moved back from CO. I have always struggled with my weight and living a healthy lifestyle. We have 2 great kids, both girls ages 7 and 11. We are originally from IN. I have been on Spark for a couple years now and I am tired of being lazy and not setting a healthy example for my kids so I am finding my determination and gettin this thing started. Looking forward to chattin with y'all and getting advice and going through this journey with other military wives!!
