Welcome to the team and to the Army Wife family. My husband is in the Army Reserves and yesterday was 2 years that we have been married although my whole life has been Army. Transitioning to military life sometimes takes time to get used to but your children will be a motivating factor to keep you going. We will be here for you when you need us no matter if you have a question about what to expect being apart of the military now or just need a little support to stay on track. If you ever need any thing feel free to send me a message.

Hi all!
My name is Jen, and I am not new to being a wife or to Spark People, but my hubby just joined the ARMY Reserves. He leaves for basic training in August and we will face some unique challenges, or so I think...
We have been married 11 years and have 3 kids. Most of our time married, we have worked together, or at least been able to spend lots of time together.
Hubby is going to Basic Training, directly to OCS, then to training. We just found out that shortly after he returns, his unit will deploy. Yikes!
I am getting close to my weight loss goals, but want to keep up momentum while he is away, and I'm going to need lots of support as I manage both my family and job.
Please feel welcome to friend me, I can use as many as I can get right now!
