The Wii Fit is also awesome. You can exercise along with your child. Mine love the hula hoop.

LOL- "hurry up and wait" that is our motto now my friend...hahaha. Oh well...it kinda leaves our life a little exciting if we can get over the whole " not planning anything"

Anyway, I am gonna look for those 10 min spark videos...that sounds like something right up my aisle. I was doing biggest looser video...but your right sometimes it hard to take 30min to 45 mins when my beloved child is not hanging off my legs or jumping on my back while I'm "trying" to do pushups. lol.

thanks for the tip!!!

Move date? What's that? :)
Seriously, we don't have one yet. We don't even have written orders yet, just one word - Korea. lol I'm trying to get as much done as I can ahead of time because there's so much that has to happen before he can request command sponsorship. Plus he could get an extra course when he finishes flight school that would keep us here at Rucker that much longer. So....uh...no move date yet! :))
I have a suggestion for you! You can't leave your kids to go to the gym, but you can do little things at home to get your calorie burn up! Try the 10 minute sparkvideos! They are really simple, require little to no equipment or space, and get your heartrate up! Do what you can when you can!

you have a great attitude...just keep reminding yourself of it when your stressed. Luckly your daughter is small enough that you don't have to worry about school .... that was a big crazy worry for me since my son is 7 and I had to find a school for him. But now that we are here that too worked out and he is at a really awesome school....unfortunatly he's been sick all week last week and is still not ready to go to school yet...coughing all the time. (yuck)
But my daughter olivia is 2 and her and I have a great time hanging out...I am really looking forward to having nice weather soon.
I am trying to get myself going on my workouts again cuz i haven't since we moved...but once the kids are better and Isaiah is back at school...then I am gonna start working out again. It was too easy to not do anything while we were moving and WAY too easy to eat junking cuz we didnt have any of our kitchen stuff. But I am back on track for good cooking now on to the workouts. :-)

When is your "planned" move date?

I feel the same way! I just realized this weekend that I don't mind learning as I go and that the more I worry about it...the more worried I'm going to be! I'm excited to do things I've never done before and to learn from experience!
Thank you for the encouragement!

I SO feel your pain...just being on the other end of a move I remember just sitting there for month WANTING to do stuff, and get things done...even pack. But I felt like I couldn't do anything, and don't even try and pack cuz they unpack everything and repack, if your going with a moving company-which I'm sure you are since your going overseas...plus I'm sure there is a lot more restrictions.

But one thing that I kept telling myself was "I will plan as much as I can...but I am going to expect the unexpected." So no matter what the army threw at my, I just tried to not let it bother me too much because that just stresses you out. But there great thing is that I've been able to organized like crazy since we got here, and that feels good. ( I guess you have to take joy in the little things right? LOL)

Thank you Becky!I think the part that gets me the most is trying to be as prepared as possible even when i don't know exactly when we're leaving, if we'll end up staying here a little longer for a little more training, when we need to sell our vehicles, stuff like that. This move will definitely teach me a lot!

Wow- that sounds exciting...I'll be interested to here about how Korea is. I know that just moving across the country was overwhelming...so I can imagine who moving half way around the world would be very overwhelming. But I'm sure when the moving part is over it will be very neat to live in a totally different "world". Good luck and give a shout if you need to chat.

Korea! We're excited though because we know what Asia is like since we were there as exchange students in 2006. A lot of people have weird perceptions of Asia.
The adventure is going to be very hectic I can tell you that! Just the information I got yesterday at the briefing is enough to overhwelm anyone! SO much to do!!

Amber,
I just joined myself and just infact have finished my first PCS. We are not overseas, but moved from WI to NC- so it's far enough for us to feel a little foreign... But what an adventure huh? Where are you moving to??

Hi, I'm Amber, a 22 year old SAHM to one sweet girl and a relatively new Army wife. My husband has been in the Army for going on 2 years now and we are about to PCS for the first time in a few months. Overseas. It will be a different experience I'm sure but one I'm looking forward to. In regards to my weight loss journey, I joined sparkpeople right before I found out I was pregnant with my daughter, so I didn't get much done until a year later when I was ready to work off my prepregnancy weight! Since then (over a year ago) I have lost all the preg weight and about 13 pounds more! I just realized that I have made it to the goal that I set for myself before I was pregnant!
Anyway, I look forward to meeting more of you and sharing experiences, motivation, and tips with each other!

Amber
