Tracking your food is a GREAT way to start, that's one of the hardest parts, and you've already accomplished that, you're halfway there, big CHEERS for that!

We do have a "chat" thread, kind of, where you can come and join us daily and talk out what ever you need to, you're more than welcome.

Also, try to keep up your page, and blog, that helps a lot of people, too.

It helped me when I started out to just get in 10 minutes of exercise a day. There are scores of short videos here on SP that can help with that (and you don't always have to change clothes or even break a sweat). And I could squeeze in 10 minutes of stretching or WATP (Walk Away the Pounds) before bed if I really blew it off all day.

Before I knew it, I was rocking a 20-day exercise streak, then 50, then 100, and now I'm on day 552 of my exercise streak. My exercise is more substantial most of the time, but sometimes I can only manage the 10 minutes and that's OK.

It only takes a small step to get started.

Hello WI team. Go Badgers! I have been using Sparkpeople for a few months but just getting around to introducing myself to my team. My goal is simple: lose 25 pounds. So far I have lost some but need the people connection and support to keep it up. Hardest behavior change is taking time to exercise. Easiest is logging on and tracking my food. Thanks for being on this team and I look forward to building support from and to you!
