Welcome. You can do it on the fitness page. I put it in the "exercise" space and count my steps at the pace I walk.

Another thing you can do is join a goal for the team and log your steps under that heading. It is easy and convenient. I can't remember if they cross over from one to the other

Welcome. You can add your steps on the fitness page.

There is no elevator to success. You have to take the stairs.

I'm new to this group although not new to SP. I have had success when I've stuck with the program. I had a rough spring and summer mentally and emotionally and my walking suffered because of it. So now I'm trying to get back into counting steps.

I do not have a Fitbit (I did but strangely enough it made me so stressed out that I put it somewhere in the house and have no idea where it is). I have a pedometer now that I can attach to my bra strap and forget about it. No app, no beeps, just a good old fashioned pedometer that seems to work better for me.

I do have a few questions though. If you don't have a step tracker that connects to the internet, is there somewhere on SP to record your steps? I can't find how to do it. Also, any recommendations for a wrist wearable step tracker that does not have a HR monitor (this totally stressed me out) and is able to be used without an app? I know, I know, I sound like a techno-phobe, but really I just don't want to be connected to the internet as much.

Short term goals:

1. Get my weight to 195 pounds.

2. Walk 250 steps more than the previous day until I'm built up to 10K.

3. Record all food eaten each day.
