I like Taco Bell (don't judge me... lol) I don't get anything with meat, and ask for the bean burrito or anything al fresco. They'll leave off the sauces and sour cream. I also ask for more lettuce.

Thanks for all your information. I do love Subway and eat there a lot. Leaving off cheese and adding tomato etc will help

At McDonalds I choose the egg mcmuffin, no cheese. Most times I have to pick it off (cheese), but even with cheese is a lower calorie option. To drink I get the sugar free vanilla iced coffee with skim milk. Before going out look up the fast food place you may be going to and see what their lower calorie options are. If you have a smartphone you can look their food items up while your out. I'm always telling them to leave cheese and mayonnaise off and adding extra tomatoes and such. Subway has healthy option sandwiches too. At most fast food places You can also order from the dollar menu as these items are really portion controlled to the size we should be having. Living in a super sized world has given us amnesia to the portions we really should be eating. You can always ask for tomatoes, lettuce, onions sometimes for a little extra cost. Being mindful when your hungry is key while your away from home.

Wendy's and Mc. Donalds have salads, which are always a good choice. Don't let them fool you though the more stuff and dressing you use can be just as bad as eating a hamburger or small fries. I am trying to stay away from those places and eat home more, you can pick and choose fruits and veggies and low-calorie snacks etc. Good Luck. emoticon emoticon emoticon

Hi ..I am not new to SparkPeople. I have been a member for years but keep getting off track. I love SparkPeople and find out I do much better when I continue to follow. My problem is Fast Food. What does everyone eat at a fast food place to keep on track? I know Fast Food is not good for you but it is a most for me. Please no lecture about how bad fast food is. I just would like some recommendations on where and what I should eat
