Hi, I'm new to this team, I've been looking around and it looks like you have a wonderful team that I would love to join. I have been back on sparkpeople since the beginning of August. I was here on the spark years ago and left because I gave in when I had my bilateral knee replacements. That amongst many other health issues (all weight related) knock me on my butt. The important thing is that I am back and more determined than ever to meet my goals and change my life habits. This is a new journey and I plan on making it step by step. I'm 52 years old and I want to live, not just be alive but live.

I lost my sister in 2007 due to weight related health problems. That had to be the hardest time in my life to get through. Just before (a couple months or so) she died I had quit smoking and at the time was attending Nursing school. I graduated but with the weight gain, back problems, health issues and knees buckling on me, I was not able to continue working.
I am currently disabled but I know if I can lose 100 pounds I would be able to move more and hopefully return to the workforce. I look forward to meeting the team. I need help and I will be here to give help if I can.
