Very good! And you can always track inches starting now to whenever your final destination is reached. That will still be impressive, especially in the context that it was after you had lost 107 lbs. Remember that as muscle is tightened up, it will weigh more but take up less space...

And strengthens her arms.

I joined SparkPeople a while back, but found it confusing. So, I used another app and tracked my weight loss etc there. I decided to give it another shot today and had better luck. Why is that? Clearer mentally (I have fog from both Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia so yeah, that could be it), changes to make the whole think easier, something else? Whatever it is, I am here now.

I have been actively trying to change my lifestyle for the last 10 months. I started with quitting Coke, followed quickly by other sugars. Then came carbs Carbs were harder. They are cheap. They are filling. My body loves them because it keeps all those fat cells happy. But around that time I also was diagnosed with diabetes (yay!). So tracking carbs became more important. Fats? Well they aren't gone, but they are scaled back considerably. 11 months ago I didn't think anything of a stick or two of butter a week. Now it's a stick or less a month. Most recently it's sodium... I miss salt. But it has to be done, the kidneys say so.

During the last 10 months I have shed 107 pounds. I wish I had some idea of how many inches because it's a bunch but I didn't measure. I still have a long ways to go. I am doing this one step at a time.

I'll figure it out. I am here.
