Welcome, Since you're new, you might want to go through the Sparkpeople website. There is a lot of information to help you.

If you click on "Help" at the top of the page, there's a welcome guide to get you started. Then go through the videos to learn how to use the site.

At the top of the page is the word "Learn" - click on that, then click on a topic that interests you.

You might want to choose a diet plan, also, that can help you make good food choices. For example, if you're pre-Diabetes, there's a food plan for that, or one for other medical conditions.

Join some teams, and join a challenge or two, once you're comfortable with using the website.

I'm a 60 year old male who knows little about losing weight. I never had to diet when I was younger. I'm a difficult case, I think, for a variety of reasons. But if anyone wants to work with me, please write me.

Please don't write if you're selling something...
