emoticon Loralee! I highly recommend strength training 2--3 times a week. What helped me to get started with strength training was doing the Jumpstart Your Workout challenge on here. You might have to do a bit of searching under the "Challenges" heading to find it but it will have you working on a different area (Upper body, core or lower body) 6 days a week. Once I finished that challenge I found ways to do full body strength exercises three times a week. It helped that I already had some weights but they aren't expensive to purchase and you only need one set to start. Walking too is my cardio of choice most days - either treadmill or walking video if the weather isn't great for outdoor exercise or I don't feel like going out.

I just started 9 days ago. I have been dieting for years but never did the exercise to keep it off. Going to be different this time, I am already walking a mile a day and hoping soon to increase into stretches and strength training.
