emoticon I am today is already monday in aussie,
I am happy because i completed my first exercise for a while, 10 min bike and 10 min strength..hope for 10 min walking in the afternoon, depends on my back.
I found that bike is much better than walking, but i try moving more anyway,.

Welcome. You'll find lots of information and inspiration on this board.

Start simply . . . work on a couple of goals (ex. drinking 8 glasses of water/day, move for 15 minutes/day). When you've made them a habit work on 2 more lifestyle changes you'd like to make habits. Grow from there!

emoticon Most of us are here for the long haul, so feel free to get to know us. Questions ... wonderful, that's the only way we learn. Aha moments ... share them. for now exercise is big challenge for me, but as soon as i loose some weight it will become easier.
Yesterday i walked for 10 minutes but i have to stop
and rest three times. This is exactly why i have to loose weight, to be able to move it is really embarrassing...and it hurts

Try to walk at 5 to 10 minute intervals a couple times a day if you can. Then you can work up to 30 minutes. Keep posting and if you have questions, please ask and someone will be able to help. thank you everybody for a very worm welcome..
I have been yoyo dieting for years, but this time i am committed to change my lifestyle forever.
It is not easy as you all probably know, specially when you have so much weight to loose.
I am preparing myself to achieve my goals slowly.
I need all support i can get. My family and friends are supportive, but they sometimes do not understand, how difficult it is, specially if they do not have weight issue

emoticon emoticon to the team. You need to set small achievable goals that you can build into your daily lifestyle. As these small changes become a part of your daily life you add new goals to your plan. You need to set goals that work for you but you also have to be willing to make these changes a permanent part of your daily lifestyle. I suggest going back to the start of SParks and set your one time challenges and your one two three diet stages. These are found under my tools / sparks points.

Hi lwona! Welcome to the Team! You found the right place at the right time. We are a caring and compassionate group dedicated to giving and getting support and encouragement. We're all in this together so feel comfy posting whenever you can.

I use the Nutrition Tracker and it provides me with a much needed tool to identify where my calories and carbs and other nutrients are coming from daily. It has recommended ranges that fully support a healthy weight loss plan.

Add exercise - even if its only 15 minutes - and drinking 8 cups of water daily and you have the basics of the SP healthy lifestyle.

Take it slow and add a single doable goal until you have established a good habit and then move on to the next thing. Slow and steady wins the race. emoticon

Welcome! Today is my first day (I had to wait for Dr. clearance) so I'm right there with you. I have about 60 to lose and I really think we need to take it as a lifestyle change, take the pressure off for dieting and beating ourselves up over it, and know there will be setbacks. We can manage those setbacks if we stay connected. Best of luck and I know you can do it!

I highly recommend the nutrition tracker and reading the motivational sites to get you up and going! LOL no pun intended! emoticon

Drinking water and eliminating/cutting back on soda if you drink that.

Welcome. Take it one day at a time and write everything down. Try to do some exercise each day by walking or whatever you like. Set small goals of 1 to 2 pounds a week. Drink the water. Make it fun for yourself. We are all here for you.

Gale: Always need encouragement to stay on program and get moving more.
