Hello everyone! I'm new in this team and I'm looking to lose 50 lbs to start and then will assess how much I need to lose after that but at this point I'm wanting to lose 100lbs over all.
I am 45 and live near Toronto, Canada.
Back in 2012 with the help of the community on Sparkpeople I lost a bunch of weight and am determined to do it again. I will be blogging regularly on Sparkpeople and will post my loss or gain (number of pounds lost or gained even though I haven't posted my actual weight).
I'm going to be tracking my fitness minutes on Spark people, but I"m still deciding if I will be tracking food yet in a notebook or just "hope for the best" . The last time I lost weight previously I didn't track my food eaten but I really prioritized planning out meals and packing healthy meals for work etc. Do any of you really find that tracking your food (in a notebook or online) has made a big difference to your progress?
Anyways, thrilled to be on this team and looking forward to contributing and joining in. :)
