I have been using spark people for a few years on and off. When I was a stay at home mom I saw great results, as I was able to log on every day and be accountable. When I returned to work I found I was lacking in time to log my food, check in with my spark teams and unable to complete challenges. Which eventually led to not logging on at all for months at a time. After what feels like 5000 attempts to get this right, I am back!

Today is my 40th Birthday and it made me realize I need to stop thinking and start doing!. I just recently had surgery and have been unable to work out or even be active for over 2 months. I was just given the all clear to do light upper body exercise only, with absolutely no weight bearing on the foot I had surgery on. All I could think was, well what does that leave me able to do exactly? Feels like nothing. So I decided to turn back to spark people for the help and support.

My goal is to really focus on nutrition until I am 100% healed and can return to normal exercise, and to find some things to keep me active, while staying within my restrictions.

If anyone has any ideas/suggestions for exercises that can be done without weight bearing I would love to hear them!
