It is important to see this as a healthy lifestyle change and NOT a DIET. Diets come to an end, thus the old eating habits return, as does the weight.

Try this. Thirst sometimes presents as hunger. Try always having a water bottle and drink some all the time. I learned that sometimes I thought I was hungry and it was really thirst.
Please ask for help here. There have been so many great people help me and answer questions I was, at the time, embarrassed to ask.
Really use this site and you will love it!

thank you. I am really trying this time today marks my third day. I got up wonder if it is possible to lose all this weight. I know I need to say positive.

Welcome to you both! Do not be afraid to be on here. We have all done diets before and failed to stick with them but this is so much more of a lifestyle change than a diet. Even if you just start drinking more water, and do nothing else - you have made a healthier change to your life. Just one small thing. Just try to do little changes and they will add up. It does take time - nothing happens overnight like all the special pills and programs you read about so take your time and make it happen over time. Good luck to you both!

yes I only did 6 yesterday I was out of bottle water got some last nite hoping I will be able to do all 8 today. I getting offline got to run to pick up my girls from school but I will email you again when I return. I am so happy I found you I am trying to upload a picture of me been fat but I have to get it taken between now and friday. talk to you soon

Hi and welcome to the team! One important thing to remember is that if you goof up - it doesn't mean give up. Alot of us have given in to a moment of weakness and ate more than we should or the absolute wrong things. When this happens that the next day can be a new beginning if you chose to make it so.
I know how easy it is to put on the weight, taking it off is a lot of work, but it will be worth it.
Try to remind yourself of why you wanted to lose the weight when things get tough and take one baby step at a time.

Take this first week to familiarize yourself with the tools here. Once you get used to using them, it becomes easier to use them even when you are busy. Personally, I spent my first week learning to use the tools, and just tracking everything I was already eating and doing for exercise. It gave me a baseline to work from. It also gave me a chance to really decide what my goals were, and how to get there.

I am so afraid of failing, been on so many diets. jointed so many gyms over the years and never lost and still gain. I alway stop because I would not see the results as quickly or as soon as I wanted to. I love to eat and always go directly to bad food only. since yesterday I have made a conscious effort to eat what is on the menu, it was hard for me yesterday I was so hungry but today I feel a little better I am not as hungry as yesterday. I really would love to make it this time I now weigh 230.
