Welcome to the team. I am sure you can do it. I know it is a shock to the system when you start, but it does get easier, and becomes a lifestyle more than a diet. Take some time to find low calorie foods that you will like eating. I have been amazed at how much I enjoy salads, and that when I eat a couple a day, I have trouble reaching my calories that day.

Welcome to the team. It will get easier, but your body has to go through that transition stage. Just take one day at a time and like the other members said you will have your good days and bad ones, but just keep at it and the persistence will pay off.

You'll get use to it. Then you'll feel like your eating too much once you learn better foods for lower calories (ie. veggies and fruits).

Love yourself, first and foremost! Take care of you for you! Don't be afraid to ask for help... there is no shame in it!

Don't fear the set backs when they come. Embrace them, learn from them, and grow into a healthier person!!!

Welcome to the team. It will get easier and I agree that a gradual reduction will help. Incorporating more vegetables help fill you up with little calories.

Welcome to the team! emoticon If you are struggling to stay under the calorie limit, look at taking gradual steps down. It took me a few weeks until I was down in my calorie limit, I set my own calorie goals and worked my way down. Now that I'm within calories I'm looking at keeping the macronutrients within range and starting to track the micronutrients.

I'm new to the web site. Joined just 10 days ago. I am doing pretty good at drinking 8 glasses of water. When I first got started I was completely amazed to see how many calories I eat per day. I am having the hardest time staying under the recommended calorie! I dont know I pray things will get better as I continue. emoticon
