I have only been a member for a short time and this is my first time in the forums. I am feeling much better today knowing that I am not alone in my battle with weight. I have for most of my life been obese and felt helpless to do anything about it. But I recently turned 24 and realized that I haven't been really living. Just watching life pass me by because of my insecurity over my weight and sometimes my sheer inability to do this my friends wanted to do. I am ready to really live. It has been so long since I ate healthy or with moderation that learning to do so now has been a real struggle. I am making meal plans every day and sticking to my exercise. I have lost 9lbs already! There is still much much more to go. When I started I was 301 and my goal is 155-160. Good luck everyone, may it be smooth sailing from here.
