Hello! My name is Beth. I will be 29 on May 5th and I will be 150 lbs on my 30th birthday. Currently I am 229 lbs. I lost 54 lbs in in the 4 months after my daughter was born in July (I also have a 3 year old boy).

My weight loss haulted when my mom was admitted to the hospital in December. She was there 2 months until she passed away January 21st. :( During that time I gained 10 lbs back because of eating out so much because I was constantly between work and the hospital. I decided to join this website about a week ago and I have lost 5 lbs since tracking my calories and activity! I am now 229.

My mom was a caring person that touched many people's lives. I am not only doing this for myself and my family, I am doing it for her. She wanted me to be healthy and she worried about me. I have an angel watching me from Heaven cheering me on!

79 lbs to go! I also started a FaceBook challenge for my friends to set goals for June 30th - the first day of summer. It has been going really great for everyone :) We are on the 4th week.

Very excited to join this group!
