Just what I need. Some help staying on top of what I know I should be doing. I also have four kids. Two 5yos, a 4yo and a 2yo and although they keep me hopping it isn't regular and it isn't always going to work anything off.

I have 4 kids too and would love to participate in a daily accountability thread or e-mail. I have tried so many things in the past year and have reacently settled back into basic healthy eating with tracking and regular exercise. I know that I am going to be tempted to slack off and accountability would really help.

I've been looking for the same thing, but not a huge group. I have 4 kids ages 2-11 and one step son age 16. I home school just my 8yo right now because of some anxiety issues she was having in public school, but next year my 6 yo wants to try it out too and I'll do preK with my little guy. I have lost 0 pregnancy weight from any of my kids. I have done spark before but have never really put myself out there to find accountability on the site. I have friends that are all about losing weight but with crazy meal replacement shakes and pills and stuff. I am so not into that. I want a lifestyle change and darn it I like to eat my meals! LOL anyway If you guys would include me that would be great!

Hi :) That sounds like a fine idea. I also really like the convenience of emails or iMessage. I guess I do much better in a very small group for accountability, rather than spreading myself thin. If that makes sense. None of my local friends are interested in losing with me. My husband is amazing, but he is having the same trouble losing as I do. We both just can't seem to motivate each other. :)

Hi Kim :-) I also have kids ranging from 1 to 18 (I just have four). I'm struggling to get back into a regular exercise routine. When I was pregnant with my last one I was just too tired, and I never did get back into it.

We used to have a thread on this team that was a monthly accountability check-in. At the beginning of the month we would state our goals, and how often we would check in on the thread. We would all encourage each other in that thread. Is this something like what you had in mind?

Hi, I'm Kim. I'm 41 and have 5 children from ages 1 all the way up to 18. We homeschool. I gained a LOT of weight while pregnant. Things were pretty hectic with an international move, followed by a few stateside moves...but the past few months we are finally settled. I still have 40 pounds to lose to get to my pre-pregnancy weight. I am not even sure I want to get to my pre-pregnancy weight but I know I want to lose at least 25. I have tried to get on spark people so many times and stay focused. What would be so helpful to me is if I had a couple accountability buddies that could check in with each other briefly but daily... to find out if we each exercised, stayed in a calorie range or ate well, and an important part for me is to meal plan...so checking to see if we have our meals planned for the next few days at least. I understand that there is a daily chat forum in this group...but I tend to have trouble with trying to keep up with a dozen different people's names and situations. I would be so appreciative to have a small support group and I would enjoy cheering us all on. :)
