Welcome Michelle!

Homeschooling is a fun and rewarding experience! Enjoy it!

I am also recovering from an injury. I broke my right leg last 6 weeks ago and much to my disappointment, my doctor just told me I have to stay in my boot cast for 3 more weeks. In the mean time, I've been working on improving my diet: more fruits and veggies, more protein, more water, less junk. I'm also going to add in some upper body exercises even though I can't do my regular cardio. So don't lose your motivation completely. You can still make positive changes that will make a huge difference once you are healed enough to exercise again.

emoticon emoticon I'm sure you'll fine homeschooling rewarding. Give yourself time to heal and then you'll fine a reason to get back to the exercising. This is a great group, feel free to ask questions!

Hi! I am new to SP and I am also beginning my first year of homeschooling with my soon to be 5 year old son. He missed the cutoff for public school this year, but I figured since I'm HSing him it won't matter! This year can be our dry run or hopefully, our JUMP START!

I look forward to gleaning lots of information from you all.

As far as my weight loss journey,...well, honestly, I am not certain that I am truly dedicated enough to the idea to stick with it.
I started out about a month ago with exercising with a friend, but I injured my right foot in the process. That has put a real damper on my motivation.

I pray that it comes back!

Thanks for reading!

Michelle
