Most recommend about a pound a week as the fastest to loose weight. Not that it will be consistent like that. The human body just does not cooperate sometimes.

Thank you for the great advice. 100lbs is my ultimate goal, but I'm perfectly okay with it taking longer than a year. Whatever's the healthiest and best way to keep it off!

You can so do this, the loosing weight, but you might have to rethink 100 lbs. in a year. I lost my 80 much slower than that and I think slower is easier changes that can last for life, ie the maintenance once you reach the weight loss.

Hi all. I'm Megan. Starting this new journey tomorrow and reaching out for as much support as I possibly can get. I have nearly 100 lbs to loose in a year and exercising is a hated task right now. Since I'm new to Texas, I haven't made friends for support yet, so I need as many SP buddies as I can get. The goal is to start working out at home, then apartment's gym, then local gym. Let's do this!
