I was here several years ago (not sure how many to be honest) but did not stay long because I let the other issues in life overwhelm me and lost myself in there somewhere. Since then I've had a stroke and made a complete recovery, gotten older and of course gotten heavier. I have several things I need to do to get my life back to where I want it to be. Yesterday I was thinking about those things and how to accomplish each one. I decided to start where I have the most control - what I eat. I am excited, nervous, hopeful, fearful and determined to succeed this time. My son is supportive and glad that I am taking steps to get my weight under control and moving in the right direction. It's just the two of us and we both want to keep the other one around for awhile.

It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.
