I've been a W/W - on and off - since 1968 - and have followed it - I am now following the new plan - I was struggling with it at the beginning - but found that when I use all the Smart Point that I am allowed, my scale is going south - at the beginning I was cheating myself. I don't find it impossible, I find it very convenient - I can eat whatever I want - yes with portion control - but that is with any type of weight management program.

I'd be willing to bet that if you placed a meal in front of you with protein on more than 1/4 of the place, veggies on 1/2 the plate and your grains on about 1/4 of the plate with a nice side salad and didn't count points or calories, added some exercise, you would be shedding the weight.

Spark does not work on Smart Point or any other type of point system, if you enter your food ion the tracker you will see it is based on calories and track other nutrients...This plan (SP) works - just like any other - you have to work it.

All the best on your journey to good health.. emoticon

Hi guys. WW worked wonderfully for me until they changed their entire program. They rolled it out and forced it upon members before the new site & app were fully functional. Now tracking is impossible if not extremely inconvenient. I have gained weight, and am furious at them. Question - can you track points with spark?

I tried WW a few years ago. It worked for a while, but not in the long run.
Sparkpeople is a good choice. I really think you will like it here.

Welcome. I've never been on Weight Watchers, Can't afford it. This work but it really is up to us to change our lifestyles.

The secret of change is to focus all of your energy not on fighting the old, but on building the new.--Socrates

I am here because of Weight Watchers change that it has forced upon us and ruined our lives. I've gained weight since the change, the incompetence of their tracking tools has made it impossible and severely inconvenient to track and as a result, I am miserable. I hope Sparkpeople is the answer to my prayers.
