I have been on SparkPeople before. After being AWOL for about a year, I decided it's time to come back. However, my phone died and that is where I kept my password to log into SP. When attempting to get a new password SP site said they sent a link to my email, but it never showed up. So I ended up creating a new account with SP.

I have been following the Forks Over Knives program for about a year or more and am quite satisfied with how I feel eating a whole grain plant based diet. However, all the information I have read has said that one does not have to count calories. One will just notice weight loss. And at the beginning I did. But after about 6 pounds, my weight loss came to a dead stop. So as much as I like this way of eating, I am having difficulty trying to figure out what I am doing wrong.

So that brings me back to SP and logging food and journaling to hopefully bring me to a place where I am eating healthy and losing weight. And to get motivated to move more. I have a work schedule that makes it difficult to do a consistent work out program.

I am looking forward to coming back into the SP family.
