MARY this is a free site for sure. I have never paid a dime for this site.
The story of the site is in a book called "THE SPARK" and it is in most libraries,I wish you could read it.
I am 71 years old and I had been diagnosed diabetes, High Cholesterol. High BP and after a back surgery I have a leg issue. I love this place and I walk, walk walk. Do your best for your body. Pat in Maine. emoticon emoticon

Welcome. This is really free unless you decide to buy the videos or books or private coaching they offer. I've been using it for almost a year and a half an it hasn't cost me anything. There are free exercise videos and demos and articles on just about any aspect of health. There are challenges you can take to help you learn how to cook and eat healthier and to encourage you to exercise. And there are a variety of teams you can join, each with it's own theme. It can be quite overwhelming so just take your time. Start with the trackers. They are your personal accountability coaches, ;-) telling you when you mess up. There's a menu offered but you don't have to use it and can turn it off. And if you haven't set up your Spark Page, it's a good idea to do that so people can encourage you.

Hello everyone I am determined to make some big changes in my life and I have already made quite a few changes but it is a struggle especially when trying to do it on my own and i am unable to afford any of the other programs i have heard of because i live well below the poverty line and can barely pay my everyday bills. I have had 4 surgeries in 6 months and i have another procedure this afternoon where they go down your throat (endoscopy) and my prayer is they dont find what they are looking for. I have already lost over 50 pounds since almost losing my life on June 13, 2014 and people say how great i look but it hasnt been with effort on my part with the exception that i refuse to give up. I have a lot of dreams and goals and i am tired of feeling stuck so i saw this on a post in facebook and when i saw that it was a free program i thought i would give it a try although i was skeptical because i thought there had to be some sort of a catch like other programs i tried and then they turned out to be free trials or would give a free meal plan and nothing else etc. I am excited to try this and i know if i do it to the best of my ability this will work for me as it has others.
