Welcome. Glad to have you on the team. Start by making small changes. If you try to change too much too quickly you'll just get overwhelmed. And be prepared to have some things not work for you. We're each different and have to go through trial and error to find our niche. The exercise isn't hard if you do it in small increments through out the day. You might be interested in some of the challenges in Challenge Central on the Community tab at the top of the page. They are a good way to get started.

Oh, you might what to set up your SparkPage so people can offer you encouragement.

Hi there if you use the food tracker and get to PORTION control you will find yourself eating less.
I changed to small plates 8 inches and I also measure my food. If you serve your regular portion on to a plate try putting that in to a measuring cup. This will help you to see how portions are about to eat less food.

You should also Start MOVING. Start small just 5 minutes to 10 then 30 minutes walking. You will be less stressed and walking is calming to the mind. Especially when you walk outdoors.
You can do it but it will take time to learn the new healthy living. Go for it we are al worth it. Take care of yourself when you learn to do it right. Pat in Maine. emoticon

I am a dedicated teacher which means lots of sitting and eating when I'm nervous I want a lot of changes in my life hope I do something about it and contribute to other people's same goals as well.
