Welcome to the team. I think that depends on the person. The SparkPeople Nutrition tracker has guidelines on the range we should hit for the calorie range we are in and compares our carb, fat, and protein intake in a pie graph on the end of day report so we can easily tell how we've done. Some people like to go low carb, other prefer to keep their diet more rounded.
