emoticon emoticon I was able to bring my cholesterol count down by adding cardio exercise and tracking my food so I avoided going on medication.

I'm not new to SP but I am new to this team. I had some blood work done last week and my cholesterol is way too high. The doc gave me an option - either take care of it via diet & exercise or go on meds. I really don't want to be on meds, so I chose diet & exercise. I have about 3 months to make a difference.

Here are my results...

Cholesterol 200
HDL 36
Triglyceride 103
LDL Calculated 143
CHOL/HDL Ratio 5.6
Total NON-HDL CHOL (LDL+VLDL) 164

Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated!
