Yep, Success rice bombs for the onigiri. Hmm, Maki's got pretty good instructions on how to make them though, and what rice to use at . In fact, she's got a lot of great recipes, packing tips, and a big series on how to use bento to lose weight. Handy stuff that.

Anyway, it's great to have you here! And don't worry about not having a "real" bento yet. I started out packing mine in Snapware.

SO I joined this team not having ever made a bento, nor ever had one, but that doesn't mean that I don't love them. Thanks to ZIRCADIA, the person without whom I would be clueless that this group existed, I have found a new hobby and possibly a new diet, lol. I have already located my nearest Asian food store, since I want to make somewhat authentic bento, and hope to visit there soon. I can't wait to start "playing" with my food. ^_^ I attempted to make Onigiri today, and sadly you cannot make it with "Success" rice. As I have said before "Success" rice EPIC FAILS at Onigiri. Hope to be making some things soon, but I don't know how quickly I can get my bento box, heeheehee, I have it all picked out. Gotta negotiate with the hobby for that one though, lol. I do hope that I can post some pictures on flikr once I get things figured out.
