Hi and welcome to the team. I am new here. I hope to stay at my goal weight. I need to be accountable for the food I eat and I need to exercise everyday. Best wishes on losing and staying at your goal. Best wishes, Linda from bean town emoticon emoticon emoticon

emoticon to the team. You are in the right place! Great ideas, accountability and lots and lots of support!

I am going on two years of losing and keeping 40 lbs off. I didn't join any groups until I had completing lost my weight, so you are doing better than I. The support is really vital, in my opinion, to losing and keeping it off.

I look forward to getting to know you better and sharing your success!

Good morning. You have come to the right place to lose those stubborn pounds and keep them off. I have been on this team since last summer, but I wish I had found it earlier when i first went into maintenance. Feeling healthy, eating and exercising right is much more important than focusing on a scale number. The scale went down a few pounds for me once I began to follow a maintanence mindset. Good luck to you I your journey! Carol

I can't think of a better way to deal with nipping a regain in the bud than joining this team. Following a "maintenance" mind set can strip those 15 right on off, and teach you the skills to keep them at bay forever!

I'm Barb, and I'm almost to three years on this team. I joined when I was four pounds away from my "first" goal weight, then started shifting into the mind set of maintaining the healthy habits and the portion-controlled way of eating, instead of focusing so much on the scale numbers... and ended up drifting down an additional 25 pounds, which is where I've decided is my true "natural" body weight. I am now in the third year in this range.

Look forward to seeing you get back to where you want to be! emoticon

Good morning,

My name is Sheila and live on the East Coast. A few years ago I took a challenge with a friend to lose some weight. I was quite successful with the weight loss; however I have started to put it back on. This past November I joined a gym but with the holidays I did not do as well as I should have. I am back in the gym. My goal is to lose 15 lbs but I will be satisfied with 10. Believe me losing that ten pounds has been a challenge. Tracking my food daily makes me more conscious of how much I eat because I don't want to see a large caloric entry. Wishing each of you success in your endeavor to live a healthier lifestyle.
