Hi, I realize that the post i read was an old one, but r u still looking for a workout buddy? I am 27 and had a baby late january. I will get on a scale tomoro morning but i am guessing i am 190 pounds. I want to get into exercise again but dont currently have a gym membership. I live in columbia heights and am looking for as many workout buddies as possible so i can exercise many days a week. It will take me a little while to get back into the swing of things (havent done any real exercise in ages) but I'm sure once i start i will be more competitive.

Hey there, thanks for the intro! I'm sorry I missed this post, the last couple weeks have been really hectic for me. There are so many great resources here! I recommend starting with the nutrition/food tracker because that's the key element in weight loss for most people. I know it takes some time, but the results are soooo worth it! I lost 90 lbs and there's no doubt that the food tracker was essential for me. Once you are comfortable with tracking your food on a daily basis, you can start exploring more areas of this site. I still find something new here almost every day. Be sure to ask for help, support and encouragement when you need it!

I am 26 years old and once again beginning my journey of weight loss. I am looking to find a friend that I can work out with on a regular basis to motivate each other! I am a former high school/college athlete and am comfortable with various methods of cardio and strength training. I already work out on a regular basis at the LA fitness in Roseville, but am open to other workout locations! Contact me if you are looking for a friend to work hard with in the gym and have fun in the process!
