Welcome and thanks for popping in here to introduce yourself! I would wager that the majority of people on this site working toward losing weight are also battling emotional triggers or related issues (whether they know it or not). So, you are definitely not alone! Recognizing and dealing with them will set you up for success.

Yes, I work near the West Bank Farmers' Market, and I also like to go to the Fulton Farmers' Market. I am a pretty good cook and I like to improvise and make healthy dishes with lots of vegetables. Thanks for the encouraging words!

Hi--I am once again trying to address issues around emotional eating and get back to a body weight that will support wellness and positive mental health. I'm doing a medical weight management program at a local hospital but I am finding that I have to pay close attention to my emotional triggers and develop new coping skills. The nutrition information and medical monitoring are great, but I have to address the psychological stuff as well. I know I feel better emotionally when I eat in ways that are healthful.
