Welcome YOBABYPOP and CORY1972! There are a ton of resources here! If you haven't already, I recommend starting with the nutrition/food tracker because that is the key element in weight loss for most people. Then, once you are comfortable with tracking your food on a daily basis, you can slowly start adding in and exploring more areas of this site. I still find something new here almost every day. It really works well for me. I've tracked everything since May 9th and am over 70 pounds lighter to show for it. It takes a little bit of time, but it is sooooo worth it!

Welcome!!! We're glad you found us. Please look around a LOT. There are so many tools here to help you succeed, not the least of which are the teams and local connections. The trackers have proven to be the best benefit. Ask as many questions as you need to. We're all here to support and encourage!

Hi everybody, I am new to sparkpeople and and posting here hoping to make local friends. I have tried to lose weight over and over again only to lose motivation or say "screw it". I have tried WW multiple times. I know what I need to do, I just have a problem doing it. My weight affects my daily life, my self esteem, and my relationships.

Help me. Something different needs to happen.
