I do indoor rock climbing and running. You can check out MDRA for training classes for running ( and I belong to Vertical Endeavours.

My schedule is pretty set through my February marathon but I like to pace people in 5Ks when I can!

You can exceed what you think you can do.

For the kayaking, hiking, rock climbing and related out of doors activities check out the Minnesota Rovers at .If it is an out of door activity we have a member who does it.

It is called WORK-ing out for a reason.

Hi all,

I am 26, live in Minnetonka, and work Sunday-Thursday 2p-10p. I vow to make this my healthiest year ever. I want to lose the weight I gained after quitting smoking 18 months ago and turn my healthy eating habits up a notch and be the healthiest I can possibly be in 2012. I walk/run around the neighborhood and hit the gym up a few times a week but I am looking to break out of the mold and try new things like indoor rock climbing, walking new lakes, train for a 5k in the spring, do the Warrior Dash this summer, walk dogs for a shelter, kayak, hike trails, etc. My workout buddy moved far across the cities and I find it hard to do/try certain things alone so I am looking for someone who shares similar interests/goals and wants to meet up for workouts a few times a week. I need to find a buddy who is motivated and just as dedicated to a healthy lifestyle as I am but who also wants to try new things and have fun! Let me know if you're interested. Thanks ~TLC
