When starting this new food plan (not diet) don't expect to be perfect. I'm not sure what you eat now but just add more fruit and veggies to your diet as a start. If you look on the package of some baby spinach at the store you will see that the whole package is 20 calories (some where around there) and that struck me, that is alot of food for only 20 calories. So the trick is to eat alot of food like that in various combinations and your on your way to great health. Well sound easy and maybe it is if you don't have all the temptations around.

I am new to this so not sure if I am posting right or not. I am 54 and have about 160 pounds to lose and I was diagnosed two years ago with Type 2 diabetes. This is on top of my other health problems rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis, Sjogrens syndrome, degenerative bone disease, carpal tunnel, neuropathy in hands and feet caused from spinal problems (spinal fusion and disk that are bone on bone).

Any and all tips about following this plan would be greatly appreciated.
