I'm Helen, I'm 15 days into ETL and have lost at least 8 pounds. I haven't weighed myself the last few days as I am thinking once a week is better. Also the scales I have are off so I am not sure if the numbers.are right. I am planning on weighing myself once a week at Boots.

I would say the first two days and the last couple of days have been the hardest so far. I would like some more ideas for what to do with beans!

I made a big green soup yesterday which was awesome. Kale, sweet pointed cabbage and swiss chard with celery, some paprika and thyme and a very low salt veg stock.

I am 36 and have been yo-yoing for yearsm the last time I lost alot of weight was 7 years ago on the cambridge diet but I ended up putting it right back on and two stone more! (A common story I think).

I have been trying to KISS as the book says but have made some veggie/bean stews, different types of salad - I like a mixture of cooked and raw veg in them and sometimes tofu. Best thing I did was get a tofu press.

Any tips welcome. I look forward to being part of the group!
