Welcome to the group Scarlingswound. Since joining this group I have learned that for some weight gain is just as hard as weight loss. Becoming conscience of what I eat (or don't eat) has been a real eye opener for me.

I still remember the look on my mother's face when she asked me what I ate that day and my response was "I forgot to eat." I could see that my response did not compute in her brain. LOL. I was pretty content with my cigarettes and coffee diet.

I wish you luck in attaining your goals. And let me remind you as I have told others in here you are not alone!

I've been lurking for a month or so , reading everyone's bulletins and seeing myself in so many of you and am very glad to have found a place that I can finally come and connect with people who are struggling with their weight gain as much as I have. I've always been on the slender side but currently I have lost about 7pds off my usually 105 weight and it was definitely devasting to me since I had already been trying to gain weight, My ideal weight would be 115 -120pds and I'm 5'4.I know some of my bad habits and have been trying to kick them by myself and sometimes the stress of being alone in it sets me back that I all but loss all motivation. So I'm hoping this will help my motivation and get me on track to loving my body again.
