Good morning Leah and welcome to SparkFresno - the Official team! My kids are grown, so I don't have the same challenge with the meals, but, there are a LOT of recipes on SPARK. Our team has been fired up for the past 3 weeks, and we're all new to each other, so don't be shy. Be sure to track your nutrition, move, and drink your water. You will see results! For inspiration and motivation be sure to read other member's blogs and Spark articles. We're all here to support you in any way we can. We have fitness activities every day of the week so take time to read the huddle, announcements, and make sure you're set up to receive team emails. We will mbe having another Meet and Greet on Tuesday, Feb. 1st at 6:00 pm at Tutti Frutti, SE corner of Cedar and Shaw. Also having a vision board group activity next Friday, Jan. 28th at 6:00 pm at my home. They are both great ways to meet other members and put a face to a name!

Good morning everyone! My name is Leah and I am new to SparkPeople. I have been in the military for 13 years so staying fit is essential. In 2008 I got married to my amazing hubby. Then we adopted my sisters 3 children. With all the excitment of a new marriage and adjusting to 3 wonderful children, in April 2010 I had a baby girl. Very blessed! Well I packed on some pounds in the past few years. I was thinner when I was in my 20s but now I know why many Mom's put on weight when they have kids. Wow! Life is busy but I HAVE to make time for me and get in shape. So any Moms out there who have some quick and easy meals to feed a family of 6, please share. Many blessings to you all and the journey you're taking to become a better and healthier you!
